The PSAT/NMSQT is an essential step in college preparation. It offers students the opportunity to experience a college readiness exam and helps identify those who may benefit from advanced coursework. The PSAT mirrors the SAT in structure, timing, and content, providing excellent practice while evaluating essential skills in Reading, Writing, and Math—key areas for success in college and beyond.  Your student will also receive personalized feedback on their skills to help improve before taking the SAT.

SOPHOMORES- There is no need to register 10th grade students. They are automatically registered by the state and will receive their test at no cost through state funding.
Students have the option to leave after completion of test with parent permission.
If you would like to allow you child to leave after they finish, you MUST complete the Microsoft Form linked here: https://forms.office.com/r/UCFA8avjGc?origin=lprLink

JUNIORS- The PSAT is also the exam that is used for 11th graders to qualify for the National Merit Scholarship  Program! Please use the School Pay link here: https://www.schoolpay.com/pay/for/PSAT-20242025-Juniors-ONLY/Sbrkc0i

Additionally, a score of 430 on the PSAT Math qualifies as a concordant score for the Algebra I EOC for those students who are still in need of meeting that graduation requirement.
