US Marine Corps recognize Alex Fenney

This week, members of the local United States Marine Corps recruitment team visited Ponte Vedra High School. They recognized PVHS student Alex Fenney as the first in his graduating class to formally enlist in the United States Marine Corps. Dr. Asplen, Superintendent of Schools, and Dr. Oberkehr were present to honor Alex and his commitment to serve our country.

Ocean of Sound - GRAND CHAMPIONS

Congratulations to our Ocean of Sound marching band students for earning grand champion and 1st overall out of 18 schools in the 1A/2A/3A classes at the Tocoi Creek Marching Band Competition. The students swept all the captions which includes:

-Best Music

-Best Visual

-Best Color Guard

-Best Percussion

Pumpkin patch help needed

It is that time of year again. Lord of Life Lutheran Church, located on Roscoe Blvd, is holding its annual pumpkin patch from October 10^th thru October 31^st. They could use your help, especially on October 10^th unloading the pumpkins. Hot dogs, snacks and drinks will be provided for the unloading. The church is offering community service hours for anyone who assists, triple hours on unloading day, double hours for helping during the patch, and triple hours for clean up.
