**IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR ALL GRADE LEVELS**
The PSAT/NMSQT exam is an important upcoming assessment for high school students on Wednesday, October 22, 2025. As a reminder, the PSAT is for ALL 10th grade students, and 11th grade students who have registered and paid to take the exam.
To ensure an optimal testing environment, we will allow flexibility to students on this day.
High school students who are not participating in the PSAT may complete assigned work from home or at school on this day.
Assigned work will be due on Thursday, October 23, 2025, the day after the exam.
Student-athletes who choose to complete assigned work at home will be permitted to participate in scheduled activities on October 22.

Best Buddies will be hosting it’s October Give Back Night at Tijuana Flats (Nocatee location) on October 15th. You can dine-in or take-out from 4-9pm with 20% of the proceeds going to the PVHS Best Buddies Chapter.
TESTING INFORMATION
The PSAT will be held on October 22, 2025. Sophomores and paid juniors should arrive between 8:45-9:15am. Test will begin at 9:30am.

Bright Futures Student Portal Is Now Open
The student portal for the Bright Futures Scholarship opened October 1st. Seniors should apply now – you can use the link posted below. In order to be eligible, you MUST complete the following three tasks:

- Create a Student Account under the “First-Time Applicants” Section
- Fill out the Florida Financial Aid Application (FFAA) – located on the menu at the bottom left-hand side of the BF website under “APPLICATIONS“
- Send your ACT/SAT/CLT Official Score Report to one of the 12 Florida public universities. Bright Futures will then be able to retrieve your test results. If your test score is a SUPERSCORE from multiple tests, you must send the official score report from each test that comprises the superscore.
** Failure to complete all tasks will result in ineligibility **

VFW Voice of Democracy is a democratic and patriotic-themed recorded essay. Students compete by recording a broadcast script on an annual patriotic theme.

The Ocean of Sound marching band had an amazing first competition! They took 1st place in their division (by size) and 2nd place overall out of 19 bands.
