REVOLUTION PREP
SUPPORTS OUR SHARKS!
CHECK OUT THESE OPPORTUNITIES!
Dear Ponte Vedra High School families,
Our friends at Revolution Prep have set up a custom SAT bootcamp for our students to get the lowdown on the test. Join them for 3 Saturdays in September for a comprehensive overview, a practice exam, and a Q&A session with one of their professional tutors.
SAT Bootcamp for PVHS, FALL 2025:
SAT 101 Strategy Session: Saturday, September 6, 2025 | 9:00 – 10:00 AM | Live online
This one-hour session is designed to give students insight into the SAT exam as well as provide tips and tricks for test day. One of Revolution Prep’s professional tutors will teach core test-taking strategies, including a dive into the exam content and structure, how to avoid common traps, and how to create the best plan for success.
SAT Practice Exam: Saturday, September 13, 2025 | 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM | Live online
This 3-hour live proctored SAT practice exam experience accurately reflects the official SAT test in format, user experience, and content. Students will learn the testing format and practice using the strategies introduced to them in the 101 strategy session.
Post Exam SAT Q&A Session: Saturday September 20, 2025 | 9:00 – 10:00 AM | Live online
This one-hour session will allow students to close the loop on what they’ve learned across the strategy session and practice exam. Students can bring questions they have about the test overall, the best strategies for success, or even specific questions they’d like to review with a professional tutor.

PVHS PTO
The PVHS PTO plays a vital role in enhancing the educational experience for our students, teachers, and staff. Thanks to your generosity in past years, we’ve been able to fund meaningful projects such as bike racks, filtered water stations, and courtyard shade structures for students. We’ve also supported our dedicated teachers and staff with classroom resources, meals, and other essential needs throughout the year.
We’re currently in the middle of our PTO Membership Drive and still need to raise $16,000 to reach our goal. All PTO members will be entered into an upcoming prize drawing! Prizes include tickets to the November PVHS Drama Performance, Passes to The Escape Room, and more! Thank you!
Dr. Oberkehr and the PVHS PTO warmly invite you to a casual Coffee Chat on Wednesday, August 27 at 10:00 AM in the Media Center.
This is a great opportunity to connect, share ideas, and enjoy a relaxed morning with fellow PVHS parents. We’d love to see you there!
All PVHS parents are welcome.
Please RSVP so we can plan accordingly.
Looking forward to seeing you!

WATCH OUR SHARKS TEACH YOU AMERICAN SIGN LANGUAGE
This year, our ASL 4 students took on a meaningful and creative project designed to connect with Deaf and hard-of-hearing (DHH) students across the county. From the beginning of the year, they focused on making ASL more engaging and accessible for younger Deaf kids by hand painting signs and creating interactive video content. Each student carefully selected fun, age-appropriate vocabulary to paint and sign, choosing words they knew would excite and resonate with young Deaf children. With signed permission, these vibrant student-led videos have been shared with DHH programs county-wide, and the response has been incredible. The kids absolutely LOVE them!
It is important to remember that around 90% of Deaf children are born to hearing parents, many of whom never go on to learn ASL!! That is what makes this project so powerful. Seeing older students close in age to them using and celebrating their language helps make ASL feel fun, valued, and relevant. These videos are a highlight for these DHH students and help launch them into summer with a smile. 😊
We invite you to check out these videos, learn a few fun signs, and feel free to share them with your family!
