2020 Graduate, Sydney Cooper, made the University of Miami Dance Team for the second year in a row
2019 Competed Jazz and Hip Hop
2019 National Semifinalists in the Jazz Division (Top 20 in the Nation at UDA National Dance Team Competition).
2019 Graduate, Peyton Atkins, made the FSU Dance Team for the third time.
2019 Graduate, Emily Reese is also a third time dancer for Wake Forest.

MEET THE COACH

Brandi Ahmad

Brandi Ahmad brings over twenty five years of professional dance and cheer experience to Ponte Vedra High. After competing in Co-ed cheerleading at Carson- Newman College, Brandi danced with the NFL’s Atlanta Falcons, the AFL’s Georgia Force, and the NHL’s Atlanta Thrashers. She also spent six years coaching with the WNBA’s Atlanta dream dance team.

Brandi has coached the Splash Team 7 years at Ponte Vedra High School, whom she led to a 5th place finish in Jazz at the 2023 National Dance Alliance High School Nationals competition after several regional 1st-place finishes and in 2024 they placed 3rd in Game Day in the NATION. Brandi has been married to her husband Hamzah for 14 years and is a proud boy mom to Jayden and Mayson.
