Thank you to all the boys that attended the volunteer service at St. Augustine Youth Services last week. The team did an outstanding job of representing themselves well and being leaders for kids who may not have many male role models. They interacted with all of the boys upon arrival with 3V3 basketball and football games outside, then went into the houses for pizza dinner and games. As a team we provided $410 of Publix gift cards for their Thanksgiving meals, 6 bags of groceries, 25 pounds potatoes and gallons of sweet tea and lemonade. Each boy at the home also received a $10 fast food gift card and the house parents received $25 gift cards. Thank you for all of your contributions and the whole team for impacting the SAYS boys who loved the interaction and are hoping to come to a Ponte Vedra high school soccer game! The boys that attended have already been submitted to receive volunteer hours.
