DIGITAL MEDIA

Digital Media? What’s that? Better titled, Graphic Design!!! Students are taught how to use Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator to create original digital artwork! In this course, students design anything from Magazine covers to Action Posters, Informational Graphics, to learning the ins and outs of Photography and how graphic design is seen and applied to our everyday lives! You can take this class all the way up to an AP course!

CERAMICS AND POTTERY

The PV Ceramics and Pottery classes enable students to recognize the properties, possibilities, and limitations of clay by creating functional and nonfunctional ceramics using hand-building and wheel techniques. The focus is to increase the technical proficiency and sensitivity in the design process and to translate personal expression and aesthetic values into an art form. The students also explore the unlimited possibilities of glazes and mixed media.
