Requesting a Transcript

Applying through Common App?
Your school counselor will submit your official transcript. Be sure to invite your assigned school counselor in Common App.

Applying Direct to Institution or need an official transcript for another purpose?
Order your official transcript through Parchment.

This includes transcripts for:

  • College applications submitted directly to the institution
  • Scholarships or other organizations
  • NCAA
  • Employment verification
  • Personal use

Order Through Parchment

  1. Log in to Parchment and submit your transcript request. Fees vary based on the type of request.
  2. Use an email address you can access and check regularly.
  3. School staff will email you a personalized Veriff link, valid for 7 calendar days, to verify your identity.
  4. Complete the Veriff identification process.
  5. Watch for follow-up communication through Parchment.

How to Add Your Counselor in Common App

If you are applying through Common App, you must invite your assigned PVHS counselor before PVHS can submit your transcript.

  1. In Common App, add at least one college to My Colleges.
  2. Select the college and go to Recommenders and FERPA.
  3. Complete the FERPA Release Authorization.
  4. Under Counselor, select Invite Counselor.
  5. Enter your assigned counselor’s name and school email address and send the invitation.

You only need to invite your counselor once.

The St. Johns County School District now uses Veriff to confirm the identity of each requestor. Please follow the steps listed below to complete a transcript request.

  1. Log into Parchment (linked below) and initiate your transcript request. Transcript fees vary based on the type of request you make.
    • ✓ Pro Tip- Be sure to enter an e-mail address in which you have access to and frequently read. 
  2. School staff will send an e-mail to the e-mail address you provided in Parchment. You will be provided with a personalized Veriff link, good for 7 calendar days. Veriff is a third-party vendor, selected by the St. Johns County School District, to authenticate identification. This newly added identification step is to protect your identity and decrease fraud.
  3. Complete the Veriff identification request.
  4. Wait for follow-up communication in Parchment.
