Class of 2027

PONTE VEDRA HIGH SCHOOL

CLASS OF 2027

COMMON APPLICATION INFORMATION

Common App Info Students

We hope you are navigating the college application process with as little stress as possible!  Recently, the Guidance Department pushed into all senior Govt/Econ classes to review important information regarding graduation, Bright Futures, the college application process, and transcript processing.  Below are a few key points that we want you to be aware of as your seniors are working through their applications.

  1. In order for School Counselors to process your senior’s transcript, seniors must assign their School Counselor in their Common App.  Many of our seniors still have not completed this step.  By assigning their Counselor, it enables us to prepare the required documents colleges request so that they are ready to send.
  2. Common App Flyer has been posted to the Senior Schoology page which walks students through how to assign their school counselor to their account and how to invite recommenders.  That flyer is included in this email as well.
  3. Please help to make sure that all seniors are checking the Senior Schoology page to ensure that they are not missing important deadlines and information.  They should be checking at least once a week.
  4. Since many of our seniors are also on modified schedules, we encourage seniors to check their Schoology emails as School Counselors often reach out to individual seniors this way.

If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to your senior’s School Counselor.   We look forward to working with you and your senior this year!
