2023-2024 Registration Information

Hello Shark families! Registration for the 2023-2024 will start on Tuesday, Feb 7, 2023. Please see below for important information:

  • Student registration paperwork went home last week and was on yellow, blue, or green paper. If your student still has not received their registration paperwork (or it was lost), please have them see Ashlee Henderson in the guidance department for another copy. Please check the student’s backpack before requesting another copy.
  • Student registration paperwork does NOT get turned in to a teacher or the guidance department. Students keep this paperwork and bring it to their guidance counselor appointment on their specific registration day.
  • Student registration paperwork is required to be completely filled out AND signed by a parent/guardian for a student to have their registration appointment. Students who do not have their paperwork, or it is not signed, will not have a registration appointment until it is.
  • Registration appointments will occur on the following dates:
    • Current Juniors (for senior year) – Feb 7-9
    • Current Sophomores (for Junior year) – Feb 10-14
    • Current Freshmen (for sophomore year) – Feb 15-22
  • Students who are absent on their registration day, OR students who do not have an on campus English class, will have make-up registration opportunities in the guidance offices on the days listed below. These are walk in registration meetings, no special appointment is required. School counselors will also be reaching out to students who do not have an on-campus English class with additional registration opportunities.
    • Make-up registration days/times:
      • Feb 17 – period 2
      • Feb 21 – Periods 1, 2, 5
      • Feb 22 – Periods 1, 3, 4, 5
      • Feb 23 & Feb 24 – all day
  • Students and parents will be able to view the 2023-2024 course requests in HAC. Changes to requests will be accepted until April 28, 2023. This is a hard deadline, and NO change requests will be accepted after this date. Any change requests must be made during or after the registration appointment, and can be made to the student’s specific School Counselor in person or via Schoology/email message.
  • Blended schedule requests (grades 9-12) and Modified schedule requests (grade 12 only) for specific periods are NOT GUARANTEED and can fall at the beginning or end of the day. Once scheduled, these periods will not change.
